Magnetic Application Technology Starting from Zero with Analog Sensors (Part 3)

I will explain the relationship between response frequency and response speed in analog sensors!

What a third installment! In the product catalog of magnetic sensors manufactured by Makome Research Institute, there is an item labeled "Response Frequency (Frequency Characteristics)." There are similar items in the product catalogs for "Linear Displacement Sensors" and "Rotary Angle Detection Sensors," and I believe many people find this unclear. Generally, it would be "response speed for linear displacement" and "response rotation speed for rotary angles," but at Makome Research Institute, the term "frequency" is used. This time, I would like to consider how the frequency, commonly used in the electrical world, translates to "displacement." *For more details, please download the catalog or feel free to contact us.*

Analog Sensor Standard Sensitivity Type (AA / AB Series)

Analog sensor [Standard sensitivity type]

NVE's AA series and AB series analog GMR sensors have unique magnetic detection capabilities that are unparalleled. <Features> ● High sensitivity to applied magnetic fields ● Excellent temperature stability ● Low power consumption ● Compact size <Application Examples> Position, speed, and current sensors for industrial and automotive use Handheld devices Implantable medical devices Low-voltage battery-operated sensors <About AA Series Sensors> Utilizing GMR materials patented by NVE and flux concentrators on the chip, these sensors output signals with direction-dependent sensitivity. They detect in one direction (sensitive axis) within the IC plane, and when the sensor is rotated away from the sensitive axis, the sensitivity decreases according to a cosine curve. Additionally, they provide the same output for both positive and negative magnetic fields along the sensitive axis (unipolar output). Configuration: Wheatstone bridge Package: SOIC8, MSOP8 (available in die (bare chip) form upon request) Family Types: Standard AA series, AAH series, AAL series (different GMR materials used)
